The popular website Oprah.com just released it's list of Wacky Family Attractions in an effort to encourage people to vacation closer to home this year and Spencer County's Holiday World & Splashin' Safari made the list!!
You might think it is insulting, but we don't mind being called wacky! We'll take that as a compliment! Thanks Oprah! I mean, we have to admit it is a little wacky celebrating Christmas all year long, having a Santa Claus statue outside your office and a Christmas Tree on your desk!
It's also a little wacky that a Holiday World would offer free unlimited softdrinks, free sunscreen, free inner tubes and free parking. But what can we say, we're just a little wacky here in Santa Claus, Ind.! And wacky in this case, saves you money!! There's nothing wacky about saving money! That's just smart!
