Evansville Historian William E. Bartelt just released a new biography of Lincoln's years in Indiana. For anyone who has enjoyed visiting our Spencer County Lincoln sites, I know it will be a great read!The book is available through the Indaina Historical Society Press and you can read more about Bartelt's book on their blog.
Bartelt has been a wonderful friend to Spencer County, working for many summers at Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial and more recently, serving on the Lincoln Boyhood Drama Association Board. We wish him great success with this new project!
